My name is Dunja. I'm coming from Novi Sad in Serbia, where I took my Bachelor's and Mater's degree in Serbian Philology and Literature. I have always been interested in teaching, so after I finished my studies I went to Denmark where I stayed for two years and took an internship in teaching at two different boarding schools. There I've learned Danish, and got inspired for learning more languages.
I have been teaching at secondary and high schools, but also as a private tutor to adults. I am a creative type, I like art, especially theater, I like to travel and interact with people, so during my language lessons we might come across some topics or discussions about art and culture, famous people, interesting places, or world's society problems. I believe that while learning a new language, students should be confronted with it's practical use, and materials that are particularly interesting to them. That's why, besides language books, I like to prepare my lessons using videos, online articles, blogs, popular songs, photographs, interesting news, etc. to make language learning process more exciting and involving.
I can teach beginners and intermediate learners, whether they are teenagers or adults. I can help with test preparation or daily language use. And, as a native speaker and a Mater's graduate in Serbian, I am able to teach very advanced learners, as well as native speakers.
