I am a North American Native English speaker and English teacher. I earned a Bachelors of Science degree with an emphasis in Speech Communications from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. Since August of 2008 I had been teaching English abroad in Asia.
I have worked for public and private learning institutions including, but not limiting, full-time lecturer at the University of Chulalongkorn-Bangkok, the University of Chiangmai - Chiangmai, and high school teacher at Varee Chiangmai School - Chiangmai. All institutions listed are rated in the top 5 schools to attend in Thailand. Recently I was quoted in The Asian Correspondent OP Editorial on essay mills. I have taught speaking, writing and reading skills to thousands of intermediate and expert level students as well as business professionals, conversationalists, journalists, and professional peers.
During the 10 years prior to teaching abroad I had been a professional sales and marketing manager for an environmental compliant agency that focused primarily on Title 23 California Code of Regulations regarding upgrading underground storage tanks, piping and metering. I managed every aspect from bid for contract through final payment of completed jobs for multi million dollar contracts between companies such as, Texaco, Shell, Equilon, Mobil, Skunk Works, California Universities UCSD, CSSB and a multitude of other major private and public entities.
Creating new ideas comes easily to me and thankfully I am passionate towards said endeavors. I have an uncanny ability to engage thoughtfully with new people. I enjoy creating broad thinking paths between colleagues and enjoy being a part of highly challenging projects.
