Hello everyone, my name is Ayman Saad and it is my pleasure to offer you classes in Arabic (both in MSA and the Egyptian dialect). I am a language instructor at Ahram Canadian University here in Egypt and have been teaching Arabic, English and other languages for nearly 7 years. I have both TEFL and TESOL for teaching English and translate extensively between English and Arabic. I have recently been granted a Fulbright Scholarship to teach Arabic in the US and will reside in Georgia at the University of North Georgia teaching Arabic at their language department. For this reason, I'm confident that my abilities in helping you learn and understand Arabic will not only meet but exceed your expectations. My teaching style and by extension approach to language learning can be summarized by three P's: presentation, practice and production. First, I guide my students through certain aspects of language, then we practice and finally and most importantly, I see to it that my students are producing (speaking, creating and interacting on their own in the target language). Although grammar is important for me, my goal for my students is to make them communicative in Arabic; I make language learning as enjoyable as possible to encourage them to speak and comprehend with music, I look very much forward to getting into contact with you and helping you explore the deep and rich language that my mother tongue is.
I have just read an article on The Guardian about language learning, I wanted to share with you some of the tips they mentioned:
1- Make realistic, specific goals
2- Remind yourself why you are learning...
