Hi! My name is Vlada and I've been teaching Russian for the foreigners and native speakers as well since 2016. I finished my BA in Cultural Studies with high honor in 2018. And right now I'm doing my MA in the same field. During my BA I spent a year in China as an exchange student and I've been teaching Chinese student there as well.
Right now I'm an exchange student at the University of Helsinki.
I was awarded a prize of Russian president for talented youth in Education
I love studying and learning languages myself and it helps me to better understand the prosses of learning a new language from the inside. And that's why I can better understand my students and help them with learning.
I think that before you start learning Russian you should ask yourself two basic questions: why I want to learn Russian and which goal I want to achieve.
I have different methods of teaching for different students.
Do you need Russian for everyday life and want to know more about Russian slang? Then we will focus on Speaking and Listening part with you.
Are you studying at one of the Russian university and need to use a lot of academic vocabulary? I'm here for you! I'm writing articles myself and can be very helpful for you here.
Do you want to know more about Russian culture? I would tell you many interesting facts about the country of bears and vodka.
I also believe that you should enjoy the whole process of your education. You shouldn't force yourself to learn the language. it should be interesting for you and give you visible results as soon as possible. That's why I'm not only using course books with my students but also watch movies, TV-shows, translate books, articles and playing language games.
During each lesson, we would check your homework, work on pronunciation, learn grammar and new facts about Russia and Russian culture.
