GMAT - 英語のチューター＆先生
I’m a qualified and registered teacher from South Africa. English is my native language and I’m also fluent in Afrikaans and basic sign language. I feel that the online platform is a great opportunity for children and adults to learn from the comfort of their homes. It’s also an amazing way to get to know people from all over the world. I have many years of teaching experience in a physical class and online. During my time as a teacher I have taught English to foreign learners and also to their parents, to help them better their language support to the learners at homes. I am qualified to teach students from all ages, language levels and backgrounds. I am familiar with many online teaching platforms, applications and technological soft- and hardware. I’m a dedicated, passionate teacher who thrives to give learners the needed confidence to believe that they can learn, despite the barriers they may face. I’m a firm believer that in the process of educating someone, it should always be as interactive as possible. I make sure lessons are prepared in a way that will interest and stimulate the learners. I pride myself in always being punctual and handling admin affairs very well. Furthermore, being positive about my work is my driving force. I work well with people and I always show the needed respect.
I love exploring new ideas on life, love, business, Global Issues, Technology, Art, to name a few. and I use them to teach English around the world on some online platforms. I am a certified English teacher and I have teaching experience of over 5 years now. My approach is instead learning about Jack and Jill who went up the hill why don't we talk about the crazy, beautiful, and cruel world we live in. We will still be using English to discuss but in this way, we will learn something new. I'll learn from you and you'll learn from me. - Business English - Working with a global team - Business Negotiation - Interview - Global Issues - Technology - Life - Design and Art My focus in class will always be on communication because I believe communication is the best way to learn a language. here's how I do it. 1) I will send lesson material before our lesson (video, audio, phone script, interview questions, post, etc) 2) you have to watch that video multiple times if it's necessary to create a base for our lesson. 3) We will have a conversation about that specific topic in the lesson. see you later. Have a great day Thanks

Hello! my name is Jamie, i'm 29, I live in England and I'm a professional English teacher. I graduated from University with a bachelor of arts degree in English Language and Literature, giving me a firm grasp of the vocabulary and grammar skills which are necessary to have a varied knowledge of the English language. I then moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to obtain a TEFL certificate to teach English as a foreign language. Since passing this course I have worked at a number of advanced International language schools in Thailand, Vietnam and Colombia, teaching a range of age groups from kindergarten to adults. I have now accumulated five years of teaching experience, whilst in my spare time tutoring on an online teaching platform. I have tutored one on one, held classes with as little as 10 students to as many as 50 and taught kids as young as 4 to adults as old as 40. This has allowed me to adopt a range of teaching methods to tailor my lesson plans to a multitude of requirements. Using a presentation, practice and production system, I teach my students to take the initiative first from watching me, then practising what I have shown them and then producing it themselves unaided! Practically the system varies depending on the students level but can be applied in any lesson whether online or in the classroom. In my experience of teaching advanced pupils the system is highly effective when looking at sentence structure, speaking skills and grammar. However with beginners and young children the focus is phonics and basic language. I strive to incorporate technology frequently, using images (flashcards - drawings - posters), video and audio to set up each lesson in an inclusive and interactive way so students are engaged. I also present themes and topics 'weather', 'occupations', 'animals' to bring clarity to subject matters and to introduce more varied and challenging language in an appropriate easy to digest manner. Most of all no matter what your age group or skill set, my classes are supportive and most importantly fun!

I graduated from Boston University with a Master's Degree in Engineering; however, later on, I found my true calling in teaching English. For the past eight years, I have been working as the Director of Education & Cultural Development for the Colorado Rockies. The position entails the implementation and coordination of the educational needs for all of the Latin players signed within the organization. It is my job to create an education curriculum to address the needs of the players and help them obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma. The primary responsibilities include the recruitment and training of teachers, professors, psychologists and educational facilitators from diverse areas as well as implement and oversee the high school/GED program for the academy. The duties also include mentoring the players, especially those with learning disabilities and help them develop their critical thinking abilities. I have spent approximately 17 years as an English Instructor and Professor. I have worked at various international institutes as well as local and private universities teaching Advanced Physics and Theoretical Mathematics. My areas of expertise in regards to ESL are vocabulary, accent reduction, reading and listening comprehension as well as in depth knowledge of American customs and culture. Teaching is my passion and is undeniably the most important job I've ever had in my life. Please feel free to reach out to me. I am always available to teach new students and I'll try to make it worth your while. Take care!
A native British English speaker, I have been passionate about language learning since school. I studied Modern Languages at university in the UK, so understand the challenges of language learning from the student's perspective too. I did Cambridge CELTA teacher training at the end of 2016 (after years of informal teaching) and moved to Colombia to start a new chapter of life in January 2017. I taught at Universidad del Rosario, and also taught a wide variety of private classes with Colombian and international adults and children, in person and online. Now back in the UK, I teach learners of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and contexts. I love the variety of students and the breadth of teaching skills that entails. I have top qualifications and extensive experience, in general, business and academic English, as well as in Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL international exams. Being a good teacher is all about working with the student to find the personalized way that works most effectively for them to grow in confidence and achieve their goals. It’s about connecting language learning with real life, making sense of English in a particular context and recognizing a student’s personal needs, challenges and learning style. I do currently have capacity for working with new students. If the schedule is not showing your preferred time, please do contact me and I will do my very best to find a space that suits you. Let's do this :-)
